Job summary

Clear Creek ISD Transportation in League City, Texas seeks an Assistant Director of Transportation Operations to lead and manage district transportation services. The incumbent will engage in strategic planning, budgeting, staff development, and regulatory compliance, ensuring timely and safe student transportation under district policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or extended supervisory experience in transportation (preferred).
• TAPT certification required or obtained within first year of employment.
• Valid Texas commercial driver’s license with school bus and passenger endorsements.
• School Bus Driver Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Transportation in directing and managing district operations.
• Leverage technology to enhance routing, scheduling, training, and communications.
• Provide transportation services for field trips, athletics, and special programs.
• Respond to after-hours calls and support bus operations during breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with district policies and state/federal regulations.
