Essential Functions
- Responds to questions from parents, schools, drivers, district staff, and the public regarding transportation services.
- Maintains transportation records, files, forms, and other department documentation.
- Enters and maintains transportation data and information in department systems.
- Processes purchase orders, invoices, work orders, expense claims, and other department documents.
- Prepares routine reports, correspondence, forms, calendars, and other department materials.
- Assists with driver records, personnel documentation, training records, and required compliance documentation.
- Monitors office supplies and department materials and assists with purchasing.
- Supports transportation staff with scheduling, meetings, communications, and other administrative tasks.
- Participates in department meetings and training as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in an office, customer service, school, transportation, or similar setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Proficiency with standard office technology, email, spreadsheets, data systems, etc
Other Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Age 16 or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
