Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Transportation Specialist– NOC to facilitate flow of information between carriers, hubs, and warehouses. You will resolve issues affecting customer experience and business continuity, analyze trends, and drive process improvements while communicating clearly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
Experience with Excel.
Experience with SQL.

Responsibilities

Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
Pull data from databases using Excel to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
Understand business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
Escalate issues to relevant owners and ensure resolutions are delivered.
Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
Communicate findings clearly, verbally and in writing, and present in reviews.
Provide real-time customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
