Job summary

Voltage-LL in Timberlake, NC is seeking a Transportation Logistics Specialist to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across TL, LTL, rail, ocean, and air freight while optimizing routes and costs.

You will monitor shipments, select carriers, and manage documentation to ensure on-time delivery. The role involves working with 3PLs, carriers, and internal teams to improve performance and compliance in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3–6+ years of experience in transportation logistics, freight coordination, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with domestic and/or international transportation providers required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across multiple transportation modes (TL, LTL, rail, ocean, and air freight).
• Schedule shipments, select carriers based on service, cost, and performance, and monitor status to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track carrier performance, freight costs, and service levels; support continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain transportation documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain data in TMS/ERP systems and generate logistics reports for cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Finance to align transportation plans.

In this role, you will play a critical part in driving supply chain efficiency by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods.
