HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Intern in Austin, TX. You will gain real-world experience on exciting projects within HDR’s Transportation Business Group, supporting design tasks, data collection, and plan set work under supervision.

You’ll connect with company leaders, participate in mentoring and young professionals programs, and contribute to engineering tasks using Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, and Microsoft 365. This internship supports HDR’s inclusive, employee-owned culture.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, and Microsoft 365.

In the role of Transportation Intern, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry like Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, and Microsoft 365.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
