Qualifications

• Inspections across pavement markings, guardrail, encroachment permits and surveying.
• Must be able to monitor work zones and ensure traffic control devices meet MUTCD standards.
• Must maintain reports and coordinate with utilities for relocations.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspection duties in pavement markings, guardrail, encroachment, encroachment permits, and surveying.
• Ensures all work complies with contracts, plans, standards, and specifications.
• Monitors work zones as a certified Work Zone Inspector and ensures traffic control devices comply with SCDOT and MUTCD standards.
• Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly reports and logs; coordinates with utilities for relocations.
• Ensures sampling and testing requirements are met and proper documentation is submitted.
