Home Health Aide (HHA)-Full Time

Now hiring on the following shift: 4:00pm-12:00am. The schedule includes working rotating weekends.


Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking full time Home Health Aides (HHAs) who are looking for a consistent schedule within a professional, caring and team-based environment. We would like to speak with those with a passion for working with seniors! You'll be patient, courteous and tactful with residents, staff, family members and visitors.

A vital and important part of the Escort/Transportation department, the HHA escorts patients/residents to and from various locations throughout the facility and to Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Position Requirements

  • Current Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate in the state of NY

  • Prior experience working as an HHA; prior experience working in a nursing home or assisted living facility is a plus

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Someone who likes to be part of a team; contributes as an active team member; helps out the team as needed

  • Availability to work rotating weekends
