Transportation Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager

Responsibilities
  1. Market geotechnical engineering services to the transportation sector in Texas.
  2. Manage TXDOT projects, including design-build initiatives.
  3. Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  4. Prepare proposals and invoices.
  5. Oversee field engineering and testing operations.
  6. Perform and review engineering analyses, technical reports, and provide consultation on transportation projects.
  7. Support other ESP operations with technical expertise as needed.
  8. Ensure quality in all work operations and deliverables.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
  2. Professional Engineering License in Texas.
  3. 5-10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering for transportation projects.
  4. Experience with TXDOT geotechnical design, including design-build projects, to achieve prequalification.
  5. Strong technical skills in foundation, settlement, slope stability, ground improvement, seismic, and liquefaction analyses.
  6. Results-oriented with excellent organizational, planning, and attention to detail skills.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an outgoing personality.
  8. Leadership and personnel management abilities.
  9. Proactive in business development.
  10. Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record as per company policy.
