Transportation Geotechnical Business Class Leader

Join HDR as a Transportation Geotechnical Business Class Leader and lead our geotechnical practice across the nation. This role involves deep foundation design, developing a cohesive geotechnical community in the southeast US, and representing HDR to clients. You will build relationships within HDR to support strategic growth, mentor staff, and promote technical excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate geotechnical staff in deep foundation design and construction.
• Engage in project delivery, resource planning, and technical mentorship.
• Promote the geotechnical practice and develop client relationships.
• Contribute to HDR’s geotechnical standards and strategic planning.
• Manage projects, develop marketing strategies, and represent HDR in client interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• PE registration in AL, FL, MS, SC, or TN within 6 months.
• Master’s degree in Engineering (Geotechnical/Geologic) or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in geotechnical engineering, with experience in foundation design and analysis software.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional registration and experience managing diverse teams.
