TCI Maintenance in Converse, TX is seeking a Fleet Shop Service Manager to lead maintenance operations across multiple shop locations, supporting diesel technicians and driving safety, efficiency, and customer trust.

You will recruit and develop a strong technician team, manage budgets and inventory, and ensure DOT/OSHA compliance while delivering exceptional service that keeps fleets moving and customers returning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of diesel technician experience.
• 5+ years in shop management or leadership.
• Proven leadership in developing employees and improving operations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Solid computer proficiency and experience with maintenance systems.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) a plus.

• Oversee preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to maximize fleet uptime.

• Put Safety First - Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.

• Build a Strong Technician Team - Recruit, train, mentor, and retain technicians while supporting their professional development.
• Manage Shop Performance - Oversee budgets, labor productivity, inventory, and operating costs.
• Make Improvements That Matter - Lead safety meetings, provide performance coaching, and strengthen day-to-day shop practices.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• 10+ years of diesel technician experience.
• 5+ years of shop management or maintenance leadership experience.
• Proven leadership skills with experience developing employees and improving operational performance.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Solid computer proficiency and experience with maintenance systems.
• Bilingual skills, including Spanish or other languages, are a plus.
