Job summary

ProTrans International in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Business Analyst II to perform financial and operational analysis of the transportation services provided to customers. You will analyze account performance, support pricing and revenue initiatives, and manage the annual General Rate Increase process.

This role collaborates with Finance, Sales, Commercial, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management to ensure accounts meet financial objectives and pricing initiatives are executed effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience in transportation, financial analysis, pricing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing account financial performance and independently managing complex financial activities.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Works with Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management to improve account profitability.
• Manages the annual General Rate Increase (GRI) process from start to finish, including tracking for each account.
• Provides financial analysis to support pricing and revenue initiatives for customer accounts.
• Coordinates with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of GRI information and documentation.
• Creates GRI materials and loading new rates into systems for customer accounts.
• Supports pricing approvals with detailed financial analysis and performance data.
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities through shipment analysis and tracking of revenue or overpayments.
