Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a client-focused, transportation and traffic engineering team. You will collaborate with other offices to grow and deliver planning, design, and construction projects for local, state, and nationwide clients.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and work with multidisciplinary teams while pursuing new business opportunities. A PE license and 15+ years of experience are required to lead this team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program.
• 15+ years transportation and/or structural experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience with MODOT, County and Local Agency projects and relationships with these clients.
• Proven leadership skills with engineering staff.
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Ability to manage clients and projects.
• Ability to participate in marketing activities.
• Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously.
• Working experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of MicroStation and Geopak.

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our other offices as you grow and lead a client focused, technically excellent transportation and traffic engineering team to serve local, statewide, and nationwide clients in the support of multiple planning, design, and construction projects.

What You'll Need

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
