Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager to join our Transportation Group in Nashville.

You will lead engineering efforts, provide staff support, and ensure QC/QA for roadway projects serving local, state, and national clients. The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, 15+ years of transportation experience, and a PE license (Illinois). You will mentor teams, manage client relationships, and coordinate budgets and schedules across multiple

Farnsworth Group is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will provide engineering, staff support, and QC/QA services for transportation roadway and street projects. Services are for local, statewide, and nationwide clients in the support of multiple planning and design projects.

What You’ll Do

• Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and design
• Develop and mentor staff
• Collaborate with other disciplines
• Develop and maintain Client Relations
• Establish and maintain budgets and schedules
• Work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program
• 15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience
• Licensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE)
• Experience working on and with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects
• Proven leadership skills with engineering staff
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Ability to effectively manage clients and deliver successful projects
• Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Working experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of MicroStation, CONNECT, and ORD.
