Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with Bentley or Autodesk software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and GIS preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; good work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of transportation infrastructure (roadway, drainage, signing, pavement markings).
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, memoranda, and specifications.
• Conduct transportation design and modeling, calculations, and quantity take-offs.
• Participate in field investigations, data collection, and site inspections.
• Contact vendors for budgetary quotes and assist in cost estimates.
• Support permitting, regulatory documentation, and project scheduling.
• Review design drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Utilize engineering software tools and MS Office to support tasks.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support the team.
