HDR invites students to participate in a Summer 2027 Transportation Internship within our Transportation Business Group. You will work on real-world projects that impact communities and infrastructure, mentored by experienced engineers.

Preferred candidates are pursuing Civil Engineering and have completed enough coursework to contribute effectively, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. This internship emphasizes our employee-owned culture and collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in real-world experience on exciting projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed
