Our Traffic/Technology Team focuses on developing innovative solutions for traffic management, signal systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). As a Traffic/Technology Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure. Your passion for collaboration and community impact will drive you to lead traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks. We will consider candidates interested in being located in St. Louis, MO or willing to relocate to/near St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5-15 years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic operations, or ITS projects.
  • Engineering Intern (EI) certificate or Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
  • Knowledge of software including Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM, or similar.
  • Experience in traffic operations and signal timing is a plus.
  • Local industry knowledge and experience preferred.
