Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Successful completion of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
• Experience working with OpenRoads Designer.
• Familiarity with ODOT Design Standards.

Responsibilities

• As a Transportation Engineer, design, analyze, and develop transportation projects to improve community mobility.
• Support senior engineers and project managers in preparing design plans for state, municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential projects — all within a 3D digital environment.
• Perform and review design calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
• Contribute to the development of design packages, including roadway geometry, drainage, grading, and plan preparation.
• Assist with early project phases, including feasibility studies, permitting, and cost estimating.
• Support aviation projects, contributing to runway and airfield design and analysis.
