We have an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Transportation Engineer in our Chicago O'Hare office. This position offers the opportunity to work on the design of a variety of transportation and site engineering projects. Enjoy rewarding project challenges and an opportunity to become an important part of a well-established technical group.


Transportation Engineer responsibilities include:



  • Design of highway, municipal, and site development improvements, including roadway elements, site grading, storm drainage, water main distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, and other site or public utilities.

  • Preparation of local, state and federal permit applications.

  • Identifying and handling compliance with regulatory agencies.

  • Collaborating with design staff.


In order to be considered for our Transportation Engineer position, we are considering candidates who possess the following minimum qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

  • EIT certification preferred.

  • A minimum of 1 year of relatable experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.

  • MicroStation and Civil 3D experience is preferred.

  • Candidates with additional years of experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, municipal and IL Tollway design and standards a plus.
