  • Communicate technical concepts clearly through strong writing, presentations, and discussions with clients and stakeholders
  • Apply a range of analytical tools and software to develop practical, well-supported recommendations
  • Work across diverse project types, including traffic and transit simulation, corridor and campus plans, multimodal studies, and transportation impact analyses
  • Work on a variety of projects, which may include traffic and transit simulation, campus plans, multimodal corridor studies, transportation impact studies, bicycle and pedestrian studies, regional transportation plans, and more
  • Manage projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and client coordination
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Mentor and support the development of junior staff

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in transportation planning or engineering, including experience in one or more of the following:
    • Traffic operations analysis (e.g., HCS, Synchro, VISSIM)
    • Traffic engineering and streetscape design
    • Transportation planning (e.g., bicycle/transit plans, infrastructure finance, transportation and land use policy)
    • Travel demand forecasting (e.g., Cube/Voyager, TransCAD, EMME)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or a related field (e.g., geography, math, statistics, economics)
  • Strong technical writing and public speaking skills
  • Experience with project management and contributing to business development efforts
  • Professional license (highly desirable)
  • Willingness to travel to support projects and collaboration across offices
