MBP (McDonough Bolyard Peck) is seeking a full-time professional to assist in transportation construction projects in Lynchburg, Virginia. Responsibilities include on-site client representation, project documentation preparation, cost estimating, and quality assurance inspections.

Qualifications

• FE/EIT preferred and knowledge of engineering principles in construction management and project controls.
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Client representation for project assignments and preparation of project documentation.
• Perform quality control, cost estimating, and scheduling.
• Conduct inspections and oversee materials testing.

Skills

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

CADD

Ability to read and interpret engineering plans

Strong writing capabilities
