Baxter & Woodman is seeking a Transportation Engineer III for our Orlando office, responsible for design engineering on a variety of municipal and local transportation projects. You will manage engineering plans, lead projects, and assist with business development.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering and 5+ years of experience in municipal projects. Benefits include health plans, financial planning, and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of relevant experience in transportation projects.
• Possess a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering plans and specifications production using FDOT Standards.
• Complete Federal Aid projects for various clients.
• Lead roadway, utility, drainage, traffic, and infrastructure projects.

Skills

5+ years of relevant experience with municipal or highway agency transportation projects

Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills

Ability to independently handle a variety of tasks

Teamwork and individual goal accomplishment

Education

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
