Qualifications

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Successful completion of college-level coursework in structural analysis, steel design, and concrete design.
• A letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering theories, principles and standards to transportation structures.
• Design bridges, deck replacements, rehabilitation and repairs, culverts, retaining walls, and noise abatement walls.
• Perform hands-on forensic evaluations, prepare inspection reports, and make repair recommendations.
