Job summary

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) seeks a TBMP Inspection Program Coordinator/Program Advisor to lead the TBMP inspection program, maintain related databases, and drive improvements. The role requires district-wide travel and close collaboration with HM-251, HQ, and other district programs.

Job Description And Duties

Under the direct supervision of a Senior Transportation Engineer (Supervisory) in Maintenance Engineering this Transportation Engineering position is responsible for the District TBMP (treatment best management practice) inspection program, maintenance and improvement of TBMP database, process improvement, and HM-233 TBMP Major Maintenance. Serves as the technical advisor and Program Coordinator for the TBMP Inspection Program HM-233 TBMP, works closely with HM-251 Program Coordinator, HQ and other district programs in the District to meet the program's objectives and requirements. This position requires travel district wide and at occasionally statewide. Monitors, tracks, evaluates activities, and projects, makes special reports and investigations and provides recommendations with regard to the program element requirements. Possession of a valid California driver's license is required.
