The Role
Transportation Engineer 3’s in the Division of Traffic Engineering lead the development of projects that enhance safety, capacity, and efficiency of Connecticut's transportation system. They manage traffic designs, studies, and investigations, and work to prevent crashes through innovative solutions like roadway configurations, signals, signs, and markings.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications
Substitutions include PE licensure, master’s degrees, or experience equivalencies. Preferred qualifications include civil engineering degrees, PE license, traffic engineering experience, and proficiency with relevant tools and manuals.
