Job summary

HDR's Transportation Business Group in Bellevue, WA seeks an Transportation EIT/Coordinator to join a team of project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects. You’ll help with alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, and prepare plans and construction estimates while collaborating to produce technical reports and calculations.

In the role of Transportation EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates
• Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d is a plus.
• Previous internship or entry-level engineering experience.
• Experience using Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) or the ability to obtain.
• Candidates hired without the EIT will be hired as a Transportation Design Coordinator and will be expected to obtain the EIT for career progression.
