Job summary

The NEEDS Center is seeking a Transportation Driver to join our team in Massachusetts. This part-time role offers 30 hours per week with a pay rate of $20 per hour, and a $1000 sign-on bonus based on hours worked.

You will drive NEEDS Center vans and assist individuals with getting in and out of vehicles, following schedules and safety rules across our day programs in Tewksbury, Beverly, and Rowley. Qualifications include a valid driver's license, a clean driving record with at least 3 years of

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals to and from NEEDS Center Day Programs in company-owned vehicles.
• Assist individuals in and out of vehicles and adhere to routes and time schedules.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with transportation laws.

Transportation Driver - Work 30 hours per week!

Transportation Driver - No special license needed

Now offering a $1000 sign-on bonus ($500 upon hire and $500 after 6 months of employment) to hired candidates. (Based on hours worked)

The NEEDS Center is looking for van drivers to transport people with disabilities to-and-from our Day Center Programs located in Tewksbury, MA, Beverly, MA and Rowley, MA.

• You will be driving NEEDS Center company vans and cars.
• Schedule is 30 hrs per week
• Work hours for these positions are primarily: 7am-10am and 2pm-5pm daily.
• Positions can also be extended to full-time positions for qualified applicants, if desired, by working with individuals in our day programs during program hours.
• All you need is a regular driver's license and a good driving record.

Pay: $20/hr

Responsibilities Include:

• Transporting individuals to and from NEEDS Center Day Programs in company-owned vehicles
• Assisting individuals in and out of the vehicles
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record

Qualifications Include:

• You must have a good driving record with at least 3 years of driving history that can be confirmed
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred, but not necessary)
