Job summary

Arcadia on the Hill is seeking a Transportation Driver to safely transport patients to hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences. The role emphasizes professional conduct, excellent customer service and adherence to safety standards.

You will be responsible for vehicle upkeep, routine inspections, and completion of required paperwork. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and an active Illinois driver's license with DOT licensure.

Transportation Driver

Job Summary:

The Transportation Driver will provide the transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner.

Essential Duties:

• Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.


• Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times. Monitors resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.


• Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and all required paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Active Illinois Driver’s License, meeting DOT required vehicle licensure and physical.
