Location: Lancaster Nursing & Rehabilitation | Lancaster, PA
Schedule: Full-Time | Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Lancaster Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and compassionate Transportation Driver to support our residents by safely transporting them to appointments, hospitals, and community events. If you enjoy helping others and take pride in being dependable, organized, and safety-focused, this could be the opportunity for you.
Safely operate a company vehicle to transport residents to and from medical appointments, hospitals, and community outings
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle (inside and out) at all times
Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure the vehicle is inspected and in good working order
Adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times while managing time efficiently
High school diploma or GED (Required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean record for the past 2 years (Required)
Ability to confidently drive and maneuver a van in tight spaces (e.g., alleys or designated loading areas)
Good physical and mental health; able to lift up to 75 pounds
Clear communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
Able to work independently and as part of a team
1–2 years of transportation experience
Prior work in long-term care or healthcare settings
Experience transferring individuals with mobility limitations using facility equipment
