Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Transportation Driver to provide safe patient transport to hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, and private residences. You will focus on professional conduct and excellent customer service while ensuring proper documentation and vehicle readiness.

The role requires following safety standards, maintaining the vehicle, and communicating effectively with staff and patients. Full-time, part-time, and PRN options may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Active Illinois Driver’s License and DOT-required license/physical.
• Age between 25 and 74 per facility insurance requirements.
• Experience as a bus or van driver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation of residents to and from activities, appointments, and outings.
• Ensures safety of residents during transport, boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintains vehicle upkeep, inspections, and completes required paperwork.

Transportation Driver

Job Summary:

The Transportation Driver will provide the transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner.

Essential Duties:

• Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
• Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times. Monitors resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.
• Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and all required paperwork.
