Juniper Gardens Center is seeking a dependable Transportation Driver to help residents reach medical appointments, community activities, and events. You will safely transport residents, assist with boarding, maintain neat vehicles, and follow safety procedures.
The role requires a valid license, a careful driving record, and excellent communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Healthcare setting experience is a plus, but not required.

We are looking for a dependable and compassionate Transportation Driver to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in helping our residents safely and comfortably get to medical appointments, community activities, and other outings.
Confirm and coordinate residents’ medical appointments and transportation arrangements.
Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, community events, activities, and other destinations as needed.
Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle while maintaining their safety and comfort.
Ensure the facility vehicle is clean, properly equipped, and safely supplied before each trip.
Follow all applicable transportation and facility safety procedures.
Communicate professionally with residents, families, healthcare providers, and facility staff.
Complete necessary transportation documentation and administrative paperwork.
Assist with clerical tasks related to resident transfers and discharges.
Report any vehicle or safety concerns promptly.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Valid state driver’s license with no more than three (3) entries, including accidents, moving violations, and failures to appear.
Safe and responsible driving record.
Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
Ability to interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and compassionate manner.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize resident safety and comfort at all times.
Previous experience transporting residents or working in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.
