Job summary

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig (FHU) seeks a transportation engineering intern for our Omaha, NE office. You will gain practical experience in roadway design, work on real projects, and develop technical skills under experienced professionals.

This internship focuses on both design and analysis while contributing to meaningful client work. Ideal candidates are undergraduates or graduate students in transportation engineering, with strong software and math skills, and the ability to work well

Qualifications

• Undergraduate (sophomore or higher) or graduate student in Transportation Engineering or related field.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with engineering software.
• Solid mathematics skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for a 3-month internship (approximately June through August)

Internship Overview

As an FHU intern, you will gain practical experience in transportation engineering design with a focus on roadway design. You will work on real projects, build technical skills, and gain insight into the industry in a supportive environment where you can explore your career interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, analysis, and planning of engineering projects

Required

Starting pay: $23.00 per hour
