Felsburg Holt & Ullevig (FHU) in Omaha, NE invites students to join our internship program in transportation engineering design, focusing on roadway design, real projects, and mentorship.

You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation OpenRoads Designer, work on fieldwork, reports, and presentations, and explore career interests in a collaborative team environment. Starting pay is $23 per hour, with a deadline of 12/31/2026.

Competenze

Undergraduate (sophomore or higher) or graduate student in Transportation Engineering or a related field
Strong computer skills and proficiency with engineering software
Solid mathematics skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Availability for a 3-month internship (approximately June through August)

Internship Overview

As an FHU intern, you will gain practical experience in transportation engineering design with a focus on roadway design. You will work on real projects, build technical skills, and gain insight into the industry in a supportive environment where you can explore your career interests.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, analysis, and planning of engineering projects
