Job summary

M&J Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Transportation Design Engineer to support roadway, bridge, drainage, and municipal infrastructure projects across Texas. You’ll collaborate with senior transportation leaders and contribute to a growing practice backed by a national engineering firm.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree; EIT is preferred. OpenRoads, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Flexible experience level from entry to seasoned professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and production of transportation infrastructure projects.
• Support roadway, bridge, drainage, and municipal infrastructure design.
• Prepare plans, specs, estimates, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, subconsultants, and agencies.
• Support project delivery using Bentley design platforms and digital workflows.
• Participate in field investigations and project meetings.
