Consor is seeking a Transportation Design-Build Manager to lead complex highway, bridge, and transit projects from pursuit through closeout. You will coordinate design and construction teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk, and act as the primary client contact with DOTs and municipalities.
You will mentor staff, support business growth, and ensure constructability and contract compliance while promoting safety and continuous improvement. Some travel to client sites will be required.
As a Transportation Design-Build Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects from pursuit and design through construction and closeout. Acting as the primary connection between design teams, construction personnel, clients, and stakeholders, you'll ensure projects remain aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
On a daily basis, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review project progress, resolve technical and operational challenges, manage risks, and drive key milestones forward. You'll facilitate coordination meetings, oversee project performance, and work closely with transportation agencies and clients to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain strong partnerships.
You'll also support business growth by contributing to project pursuits, proposal development, and strategic planning efforts. As projects advance into construction, you'll help ensure design intent, constructability, and contract requirements are effectively executed while mentoring team members and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.
