DonorConnect is seeking a part-time Transportation Coordinator to support organ/tissue transport operations in Utah. The role centers on coordinating on-call transportation, leveraging a background in driving or courier services, and adapting to time-sensitive timelines. Weekend shifts from 7pm to 7am total 24 hours weekly.

You’ll work with on-call coordinators, using digital systems for comms, tracking, and documentation while ensuring safety and compliance throughout transport activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Chauffeur's license required within 90 days of employment.
  • Minimum 5 years of routine driving experience.
  • Excellent driving record; courier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a valid driver's license, TSA registration, and other required licenses.
  • Perform fleet maintenance and vehicle upkeep.
  • Assist the supervisor with projects and reports as needed.
  • Complete all assigned on-call shifts as scheduled.

Transportation Coordinator - Driver

DonorConnect is looking for a part‑time Transportation Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is a natural delegator, works well independently and collaboratively, has a background in driving or courier services, and is open to working a variety of shifts. This position is for weekend evenings working from 7pm-7am on call for a total of 24 hours each week. DonorConnect is a federally designated nonprofit community service organization dedicated to the recovery of organs, tissues, and eyes for life‑saving transplants. As a Transportation Coordinator at DonorConnect, you will play a vital role in our life‑saving mission. You will work closely with on‑call organ and tissue donation coordinators, providing critical transportation services, including the transport of organ personnel, biological samples, and supplies. Due to the sensitive and time‑critical nature of organ donation, strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing timelines are essential. You must also be tech‑savvy, as the role involves using digital systems for communication, tracking, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Maintaining a valid driver's license, TSA registration, and other required licenses/certifications

Training/Education/Certification
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Chauffeur's license required within 90 days of employment
Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years of routine driving experience

  • Previous courier experience preferred

  • Awareness of types of transportation needs for DonorConnect tissue and organ cases
