• Transportation Coordinator - CNA/EMT

Full Time, Days

Job Description:

• Coordinate all aspects of transporting residents of the facility.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all facility vehicles.
• Represent the facility professionally when dealing with medical providers for patient transport.
• Make all appointments for patients and maintain a calendar of appointments.
• Maintain logs for each transport and vehicle.
• Ensure routine maintenance is performed on transport vehicles.
• Establish and follow a maintenance schedule for each vehicle.
• Maintain good relationships with community, hospitals, and healthcare facilities, coordinating services for patients.
• Transport specimens and other items to hospitals or clinics as requested.
• Procure supplies from local vendors as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Valid NC Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Be 21 years or older, of good moral character, and genuinely care for the elderly and disabled.
• Registered with DFS as a Nursing Assistant or EMT in North Carolina.
• Maintain current CPR certification via the American Heart Association.
• Ability to plan, organize, and follow up on work assignments.
• Make independent decisions and work well under pressure.
• Be flexible in performing various tasks.
• Transportation experience preferred.
