Job summary

The United States Army Reserve is seeking a Transportation Management Coordinator to plan and schedule transport for troops, cargo, and equipment worldwide. You will document shipments, prepare cargo for travel, and choose the most efficient transport modes to meet mission needs.

Training is included with extensive credentialing opportunities; benefits cover health care, housing allowances, vacation, and education support as you serve either part-time or full-time.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 10 weeks of Basic Training and 6 weeks of Advanced Individual Training completed.
• Meet tattoo guidelines and no major law violations.

• Document and inventory freight shipments.
• Prepare cargo for travel and ensure correct packaging.

ABOUT THIS JOB

***THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE***

As a Transportation Management Coordinator, you’ll plan and schedule transportation for troops, cargo, and equipment worldwide. You will document and inventory freight shipments, prepare cargo for travel, and determine the most efficient mode of transport and coordination for Soldiers and personnel to meet mission requirements.

Skills you’ll learn align with Organize & Evaluate, Stocking & Storage, Routes & Navigation. In addition, there are 25 nationally recognized certifications available to earn!

REQUIREMENTS

• 10 weeks of Basic Training


• 6 weeks of Advanced Individual Training


• U.S. Citizen


• 17 to 42 Years Old


• High School Diploma or GED


• Meet Tattoo Guidelines


• No Major Law Violations


• No Medical Concerns
