The Transportation Coordinator is essential to the success of this mission, ensuring all members have transport to the center and access to medical, social, and physical benefits. This is a management role overseeing drivers for the center.

This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, with key responsibilities including:

1. Supervising daily activities for drivers, including third-party providers
2. Coordinating outside services for members, including appointments and consultations
3. Executing monthly driver training on safety, escorting, and accident avoidance
4. Evaluating vendor invoices and contracts
5. Managing vehicle maintenance according to best practices and OEM schedules

As coordinators work closely with external caregivers and family members, candidates should be available to communicate consistently, demonstrate strong listening and problem-solving skills, and participate in the development of members' Plans of Care.

The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate and prioritize needs quickly, maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude. Requirements include a minimum of two years’ supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license. Prior experience with transporting passengers with mobility needs and CPR/basic first aid certification is a plus.
