Position Purpose:

Food and food service delivery drivers play a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. They ensure products arrive on time, in good condition, and build lasting customer relationships. As a Transportation Coordinator, you will ensure drivers have the necessary information to deliver products safely and on schedule. You will support the transportation team by tracking, calculating, and coordinating driver and route information, performing administrative tasks, and communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers. You will also perform any other duties as assigned to serve the company best.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Tracking, calculating, and coordinating driver and route information; performing driver check-in.
  • Answering and coordinating transportation-related phone calls.
  • Maintaining and tracking DOT-required files and reports (vehicle inspection, fuel, mileage).
  • Processing driver payroll data and performing related duties.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • 6+ months in a transportation environment.
  • Basic math and computer data entry skills for administrative support.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
