Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage OSI responses and inbound calls from sales reps and other Medline staff. The role involves selecting transportation modes for inter-branch and customer shipments and coordinating with carriers, operations, and sales teams.

You will support scheduling initiatives, ensure urgent shipments are secured, and engage with customers as required to ensure timely deliveries.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience as a Transportation Coordinator or similar role.
• Knowledge of transportation practices and processes.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Answer and respond to OSIs and inbound calls from sales reps and Medline employees.
• Determine modes of transportation for moving products between branches, manufacturing facilities, or to customers.
• Coordinate with carriers, operations, and sales teams; interact with customers as needed.

• Secure rush carriers and expedited shipments when required.

Job Summary

Answer and respond to Operations Service Inquiries (OSI) and inbound calls from sales reps and other Medline employees.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary goal of position includes but is not limited to answering OSIs, answering inbound calls from sales reps and other Medline employees.
• Determine which modes of transportation are to be used to move products or raw materials between branches, into our manufacturing facilities, or to Medline Customers.
• Communicate and interact with carriers, operations and sales team, as well as some interaction with our customers, as required.
• Assist and participate with various department initiatives such as the scheduling initiative and inside delivery initiative.
• Secure rush carriers and rescues, as needed.

Work Experience:

• At least 2 years exp experience serving as a Transportation Coordinator or related position.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Knowledge of transportation practices.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$21.25 - $30.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
