Job summary

Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator to provide patient transportation to and from the facility for pre-scheduled appointments and assist with organizing daily activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and CPR/Handle With Care certifications (or orientation to obtain). This on-site position offers opportunities for growth within Universal Health Services network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of transportation services experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• CPR and Handle With Care certifications; certifications may be obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility.
• Report van maintenance problems to the Department Director.
• Maintain the van log with accurate information.
• Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times.
• Demonstrate responsibility and sound judgment regarding patient safety.
• Communicate with the Department Director and staff about patient care information daily.

Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator to provide transportation for patients to and from the facility for pre-scheduled appointments and help organize and direct patient's daily activities.

Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility.
• Report all van maintenance problems to the Department Director.
• Maintain the van log, ensuring accuracy of information.
• Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times.
• Demonstrate responsibility and sound judgment regarding patient safety.
• Communicate and consult with the Department Director and other staff members regarding patient care issues and information daily.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: One (1) year of transportation services experience preferred. Priority given to applicants with experience transporting patients.

Licensure: Must maintain a valid as required for transportation of patients.

Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
