TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector (Levels 1-III) to join our Construction Engineering and Inspection Practice across Pennsylvania.

The ideal candidate has transportation construction experience, including PennDOT or Turnpike projects, and a willingness to work in varied field conditions. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities to advance within a national engineering and environmental practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is desirable.
• ACI Field Technician Certification is highly desirable.
• PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification is highly desirable.
• NECEPT Field Technician Certification is highly desirable.
• NICET Certification in Heavy Highway Construction is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with PennDOT or Pennsylvania Turnpike projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect various facets of work on the construction site.
• Take field measurements and perform calculations.
• Prepare relevant inspection reports.
• Verify that appropriate materials and construction processes are being used.
• Ensure that construction conforms to the project plans, specifications, and special provisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
