Job summary

Amazon is looking for a NAST Compliance Analyst to drive large scale projects within the North American Surface Transportation Safety & Compliance team. The role focuses on cross-functional program delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will build relationships with internal teams and external partners, while ensuring alignment with Department of Transportation regulations across the Middle Mile network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of professional or military experience.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• 2+ years of data analysis and Microsoft Excel experience.
• Knowledge of a modern programming language (Ruby, Java, Python, or C#).

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations.
• Build relationships with project stakeholders across key internal teams, stakeholder teams and external partners.
• Establish mechanisms that ensure highest levels of Amazon policies related to Department of Transportation regulations across our Middle Mile transportation network.
• Understand the deliverables of project stakeholders, critical path items, and effectively communicate status, potential risks, and delays.
• Be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and enjoy working on different problems every day.
• Develop, implement and govern KPI reporting for the portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance for all projects to the given stakeholders.
• Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source, allocate, and coordinate resources.
• Interact with 3rd party vendors to discuss performance metrics, service level agreements, contract negotiations, and daily workload volumes.
• Look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence.
• Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, and set project priorities and milestones.
