The Team Lead is responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class client experience for Transportation & Risk Management accounts, as well as direct supervision of the Account Specialists.

Essential Job Functions

  • Leadership & Team Development: Provide direction, coach, and develop team members
  • Quality & Accuracy: Ensure work accuracy and service quality, set and monitor standards
  • Process Improvement: Monitor and improve processes, manage changes effectively.
  • Communication & Atmosphere: Foster positive team communication and address issues promptly
  • Client Service: Enhance client experience, handle requests, and recommend additional coverage.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Staffing & Performance: Manage hiring, performance reviews, and staff development.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate reports and understand business requirements.
  • Initiatives & Training: Implement key initiatives, ensure team training, and promote new offerings.
  • Motivation & Support: Inspire and support team members, addressing concerns as needed.

Credentials

  • Customer service experience is required
  • P&C Licensing is preferred
  • Experience leading Account Managers is preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred
  • Experience with and knowledge of insurance terms and documents preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions
  • High School diploma or GED required, two or four-year degree preferred
