TrueNorth is seeking a Team Lead to join our Center of Excellence group encompassing Transportation and Risk Management divisions in our Cedar Rapids office!
The Team Lead is responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class client experience for Transportation & Risk Management accounts, as well as direct supervision of the Account Specialists.

Essential Job Functions
- Leadership & Team Development: Provide direction, coach, and develop team members
- Quality & Accuracy: Ensure work accuracy and service quality, set and monitor standards
- Process Improvement: Monitor and improve processes, manage changes effectively.
- Communication & Atmosphere: Foster positive team communication and address issues promptly
- Client Service: Enhance client experience, handle requests, and recommend additional coverage.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Staffing & Performance: Manage hiring, performance reviews, and staff development.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate reports and understand business requirements.
- Initiatives & Training: Implement key initiatives, ensure team training, and promote new offerings.
- Motivation & Support: Inspire and support team members, addressing concerns as needed.
Credentials
- Customer service experience is required
- P&C Licensing is preferred
- Experience leading Account Managers is preferred
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred
- Experience with and knowledge of insurance terms and documents preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions
- High School diploma or GED required, two or four-year degree preferred
