Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking an IDC Transportation Clerk to support inbound and outbound drivers at the Distribution Center’s Transportation Center. You will handle driver paperwork, log shipments in the DMS, and prepare documents for outbound trucks while maintaining strong customer service as the face of Lowe’s to drivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated good attendance record.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Strong safety orientation and reliability.
• Proven on-the-job contribution and independence or teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound driver documentation and support at the Transportation Center.
• Maintain physical documents, schedule inbound live appointments, and coordinate with carriers for up-to-date backhaul information.
• Process paperwork for drivers and prepare shipping documents for outbound trucks; log activities in the DMS.
• Provide exemplary customer service and act as the face of Lowe’s to drivers entering the facility; coordinate yard traffic and monitor trailer movements.
