Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation is preferred.

  • Prepare roadway design drafts, including alignments and drainage.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project delivery.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Transportation Civil Engineer I to join our team in support of transportation design. This position will join our Bend, Oregon office. The role works a hybrid schedule, coming into the office at least 3 days per week for team and client collaboration, mentorship, and integration.

Your Role on the Team
  • Support the design and delivery of roadway and multimodal transportation projects for state DOTs and local municipalities.
  • Prepare and assist with roadway design elements including CAD drafting and modeling, geometry roadway layout, horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage, and ADA‑compliant facilities.
  • Write technical reports and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to support project schedules, quality control, and client deliverables.
What You Bring to the Team
  • BSCE in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • EIT or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation preferred.

Salary Range

$70,000 - $85,000 USD

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee‑owners, we are eligible for performance‑based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
