Qualifications

• Successful completion of Civil Engineer Trainee program or
• Four years civil engineering experience with an EIT certificate and an associate degree; or
• Five years civil engineering experience with an Engineer-in-Training certificate; or
• One year civil engineering experience with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan reviews of designs and computations for compliance with design criteria.
• Prepare highway design plans for projects using CADD or traditional methods.
• Evaluate consultant, technical and price proposals for project work.
• Lead meetings and coordinate with other units to finalize designs.
