A rising engineering firm is seeking an Engineering Technician/Designer to join their Transportation practice in Rochester, NY. This full-time position includes responsibilities such as generating highway and bridge plans, supporting design efforts with MicroStation and OpenRoads, and requires expertise in CAD/Drafting software. Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of relevant experience preferred, entry level candidates considered.
• Training/experience in the use of CAD/Drafting software required.
• Knowledge in NYSDOT CAD standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate highway, bridge, and site plans along with associated details.
• Assist technical staff in specialized designs.
• Provide MicroStation and OpenRoads/InRoads support and analysis.
