Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program OR graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week during the summer.
• Junior or Senior level preferred
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities
• Willingness to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure and understanding of the transportation industry.
• Become involved in daily transportation brokerage activities; verify carrier authenticity, maintain shipment records, and monitor freight movement.
• Build understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and capacity challenges to support negotiations and margin goals.
• Observe and practice serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders and carriers; learn how service failures are communicated to minimize cost.
• Learn about the technology and tools used to streamline workflows and load management.
