Job summary

Amazon in Irving, TX is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer for North America Transportation Services to drive data-driven decisions across planning and execution. You will design reports, dashboards, and analytical models to improve delivery performance and operational excellence.

Collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and program management, you will translate complex data into actionable insights and develop ETL pipelines using Redshift, Tableau/QuickSight, SQL and AWS

Qualifications

5+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, QuickSight, or similar tools
5+ years processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Advanced SQL and ability to write complex queries from scratch
Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python

Responsibilities

Define and execute reports to drive operational excellence and delivery performance
Create dashboards and analytics to expose gaps in the supply chain
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, program management and executives
Develop ETL pipelines and production-ready insights using AWS tools
